Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires

The main difference in Empires is that it replaces the individual story modes of many, many characters from the original game with empire mode.

Empire Mode is an interesting hybrid that the series has been using for years and a strategy element that gives those many, many battles some honest context.

There are six distinct scenarios available in empire mode, and you can choose to play as any of the available warlords currently occupying the territory on the China map, which is the main menu in empire mode.



In some cases, you also have the option to use a created War Dictator (via the game's edit mode) to occupy a currently vacant territory.

From here, it all boils down to conquering new territories, as well as defending your own.

Characteristics:

- In Dynasty Warriors 5 Emipres, the armies of the kingdom are at your command!
- Your ultimate goal is to conquer the 25 regions of Ancient China and build an entire Empire using cunning diplomacy and uncompromising force.
- Before each battle, the player will meet with the war council to decide on military and political policies for the kingdom; then it is time for war.
- Issue direct commands to each officer or signal general commands to officers in the field.
